Dahlonega Science Cafe - Home

Welcome! We are the Dahlonega Science Cafe, a group dedicated to bringing our community fun, informative, thought-provoking meet-ups and talks from real working scientists. Held in a local restaurant (Bourbon Street Grill, north side of the square in Dahlonega, GA), we will present speakers on a variety of interesting, current science topics. Attendance is free (but we hope you'll have dinner or a snack and socialize).  Take a look at what we've got coming up!
So here's the logistical stuff.....
All events are on Monday nights - but not necessarily on a particular Monday.  In order to accommodate our guest speakers we'll schedule on different weeks.  Most events will start between 6 and 6:30 - with the first hour for dinner and socializing.  The guest speaker will start between 7 and 7:30.

You can reserve a table which will be held until 7:00, at which time stand-by attendees will be seated by using the "reservations" tab on this website.  If you do not have a reservation, we can't guarantee a seat.  And most of our events are fully booked prior to each talk. If you have a reservation and can't make it, please email Donna (vogannod@windstream.net) so your table can be given to someone on the waiting list.

Please note - if you do not include a first and last name on your reservation it will not be accepted.  We hope you'll understand.
